Trinity’s new digital submission platform allows you to record and submit your performance at a time and place that suits you.
All submissions for Trinity’s Digital Grades and Diplomas, as well as Trinity Stars – Young Performers Awards, are now handled through the MyTrinity customer portal, allowing you to manage bookings, view deadlines, submit performances and access a wealth of support materials and guides, all in one place.
The Support Hub in MyTrinity holds all the information and guidance you need to record and submit your exam.
The person who books the exam, the submitter, can either submit the performance themselves or nominate someone else — such as the candidate (if aged 18 or above), a parent/guardian, or a teacher — to complete the submission.
What does the submitter need?
A MyTrinity account. Submitters will receive an email with a link to create an account, or log in if they already have one.
A recording of the performance that follows the recording guidelines for Music or Drama.
Supporting documentation. Please read the Submission guidelines provided below on this page to learn what scans, photos or other documents you will need to upload for your exam.
Submitting the exam
If you have been named the submitter during the booking, you will receive an email invitation from MyTrinity to create your account and upload the performance video. If you already have a MyTrinity account, you can log in and find your submission form under the Submissions tab (for centres, parents or teachers) or on your dashboard (for candidates aged 18 or above).
You have 28 days to submit the exam. Your email will state the exact deadline for the submission. You can also view the deadline and submission status in MyTrinity.
On the submission tab in MyTrinity, you can upload the performance recording along with any supporting documentation and complete the digital submission form. More information on the supporting documents required for each qualification can be found here.
Before submitting your recording, we also recommend that you read the recording guidelines carefully and that you check that your video plays.
MyTrinity Support Hub
Once you have created your MyTrinity account, you will get access to the Support Hub, with dedicated information about all aspects of your digital exam and how to submit your performance.
Confirmation of submission
After you have completed the submission, you will receive an email confirmation. Your performance will then be marked by a Trinity examiner, and both you (as the submitter) and the candidate (if different) will receive feedback and results by email.
Should there be any problems with the submission of the performance, you will receive an email notification and the deadline will be extended to allow for re-submission. The MyTrinity Support Hub contains further information on common upload issues and how to solve them.
Where you’ll receive results
Bookings made on MyTrinity: Results will be available to both the candidate and the submitter directly within the MyTrinity platform.
Bookings made through Trinity Online (TOL) or DGD UK: The exam report will be emailed directly to the submitter and the candidate.
