If the candidate sees a flat line (no waveform) in the recording section whilst they are speaking (as shown below), it means their voice may not be recorded.
What to Do Next:
Check that the candidate’s headset is properly plugged in and functioning.
If this does not fix the issue, instruct the candidate to exit the test and confirm their microphone setting (see guidance below).
Note: If no audio is recorded, the candidate may be required to retake the Speaking module.
